DRIVER'S INTERVENTION PROGRAM (DIP)
72-Hour Program

- 30 years experience
- Certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services
- Held every six weeks - Thursday 6:00 p.m. through Sunday 6:00 p.m.
- Fees: $370.00 (cash, money order, certified check, credit card (MC, VISA)). Participants must register and pay in full prior to the program. Fees cover all program costs including lodging, meals, refreshments, and individual screening. Medical Card payment an option.
DIP runs from 6pm on Thursday through 6pm on Sunday. The 2010 DIP program dates are as follows:

- August 5th thru 8th
- September 16th thru 19th
- November 4th thru 7th

Defensive Driving
Held on Fridays of scheduled DIP programs, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Future Defensive Driving Class dates:
February 26th, April 9th, May 14th, June 25th, August 6th, September 17th, November 5th

- Cost $100.00 - must be paid prior to start of program (cash, money order, certified check)
- For those with 2-11 points on their driving record - this will give a two-point credit reduction toward their driving record.
- For those with 12 points (the maximum limit allowed) on driving record - this will give a two-point credit reduction and allow for driving privileges to be restored (if all other requirements are met)
- For those with license revoked due to high BAC while under age 21 - this will allow for retaining or the return of driver's license.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE ASSESSMENT FOR MUNICIPAL COURT OFFENDERS (SAAMCO)
*2009 ODADAS Exemplary Prevention Program Award3 Hour Class:
- 3-hour research-based alcohol and drug education group for individuals charged with an alcohol and/or drug related misdemeanor and have not been previously arrested (Prime for Life)
- Program is first line intervention for individuals who are in court for an alcohol and/or drug-related offense.
- Program runs 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesdays once a month
- Fee of $50.00 (cash, money order, certified check, credit card (MC, VISA)) must be paid upon registration
- Court will be notified of attendance

- 5-hour research-based alcohol/other drug education group for individuals referred by the Court
- Programs are held on the Saturday of DIP weekends, from 7:30am until 3pm.
- Substance abuse education/screening
- Referring court will be notified of attendance and recommendations
- Registration: $100.00 (cash, money order, certified check, credit card (MC, VISA))to be paid at time of registration.

- 8-hour research-based alcohol and drug education group for individuals charged with an alcohol and/or drug related charges and have been previously arrested for an alcohol and/or other drug offense.

- Registration: $115.00 (cash, money order, certified check, credit card (MC, VISA)to be paid at time of registration.
