Gallia Outpatient currently has several programs available for the community. Licensed and/or credentialed counselors provide assessment and treatment services using evidenced based practice such as the Motivational Interviewing Treatment Approach and the Community Reinforcement Approach. The Motivational Interviewing Approach assists participants in increasing their awareness of the problem and the solution. Participants of Motivational Interviewing reinforces preparation to change, action and maintenance behavioral change. This approach has proven successful in working with a variety of populations who present a range of issues in the clinical arena, in particular, substance abuse and addiction.
